    Vacation Package Itinerary
    Day 1: Depart United States

  • Depart the United States on a morning flight arriving at the Rio airport (GIG) that evening.
  • A driver will meet you outside of customs and transfer you to your hotel. We suggest you add our Meet and Greet Transfer Upgrade that provides a private car and personal guide who will introduce you to Rio, help you with orientation, provide helpful hints and facts about the city as well as assist you with hotel check in.
  • Accommodation in Rio de Janeiro

    • Day 2: Rio de Janeiro

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Free day at leisure.
  • Accommodation in Rio de Janeiro (B)

    • Day 3: Rio de Janeiro

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Free day at leisure.

    • Day 4: Rio de Janeiro to Manaus

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer from your hotel to the airport to meet your flight to Manaus.
  • You will be met at the Manaus airport (MAO) by a driver for your transfer to the Tropical Manaus Hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
  • Accomodation in Manaus (B)

    • Day 5: Manaus to Amazon

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will be met at the Tropical Manaus Hotel for your transfer to the Amazon Ecopark Lodge at approximately 1:30pm. During the thirty minute transfer to the Amazon Ecopark you will receive historical and geographical information about the Amazon.
  • Upon arrival, you will be briefed about the infrastructure of the park, after which your guide can lead you on a nature walk around the property and discuss the local fauna and flora.
  • Opportunity for alligator spotting before dinner.
  • Dinner at the lodge.
  • Accomodation at the Amazon Ecopark Lodge (B, D)

    • Day 6: Amazon

  • Breakfast at the lodge.
  • Nature hike with your local guide.
  • Lunch at the lodge consisting of regional specialties.
  • Visit to the home of local Amazonian residents (cablocos) with an opportunity for piranha fishing.
  • Dinner at the lodge.
  • Accomodation at the Amazon Ecopark Lodge (B,L,D)

    • Day 7: Manaus to United States

  • Breakfast at the lodge.
  • The adventure continues to the Monkey Jungle where researchers are working with rehabilitating monkeys which have been in captivity. Today these monkeys roam free in the Ecopark.
  • Transfer back to the Manaus Tropical Pier arriving at approximately 12:30pm. From here, transfer to the airport to meet your flight to the USA.

  • Space is limited and your desired travel dates may not be available if you wait, so book early to avoid disappointment. We highly recommend 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates and/or accommodations.
  • South America Departure Tax:
    Upon departure in local currency or USD (cash only) the amount of $20 - 45 in some countries is required (amounts may vary daily based on currency fluctuations). Aircraft boarding will be denied to any passenger who fails to pay this tax which is collected after check-in and prior to boarding by Federal Airport staff.
  • Full payment due within 1 day of booking by 2pm.

  • Passport & Visa Requirments:
    It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, including valid passports and visas For U.S. citizens, a valid passport and visa are required. Visa requirements change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country for their visa requirements.

    • Restrictions:
    Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 21-day advance purchase. Purchases within 21 days will incur additional fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. Surcharges up to $50 per person each way may apply for travel Thursday through Monday depending on travel dates. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges are excluded. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm. 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates are highly recommended.
